Mobile Interaction with the Real World
We accept original and unpublished contributions that are not under review somewhere else. Submissions should be 4 pages in length and follow the ACM Mobile HCI 2008 main proceedings template (excluding the sections "categories and subject descriptors", "general terms", and "keywords"; please remove also the copyright statement at the bottom of page 1).
All submitted papers will be judged based on their novelty, clarity, and relevance through double blind reviewing. Authors are expected to remove author and institutional identities from the title and header areas of the paper. Further suppression of identity in the body of the paper is left to the authors' discretion. In particular, we expect authors to leave the citations to their previous work unanonymised, so that reviewers can ensure that all previous research has been taken into account. Authors of accepted submissions will have the opportunity to update their submissions based on the reviews before the final electronic copy is due.
All submissions will be handled electronically via our OpenConf submission system. The documents should be submitted in PDF format. If your submission contains an additional video file then both should be packed in one ZIP file. If you experience any problems, please email the workshop's organizers.
The proceedings of MIRW 2008 will be published as a technical report of the University of Oldenburg. The workshops proceedings will also be made available online and distributed electronically at the conference on a CD or memory stick. MIRW 2008 will provide also printed proceedings for the participants of the workshop.
